The Institute of Metrology of Bosnia and Herzegovina organized the first interim meeting for the EMPIR project 18HLT05 QUIERO. The meeting was held in Sarajevo, at hotel „Hills“, in the period 27-28 February 2020 and covered presentation of activities in the first nine months of the project. The meeting was attended by 20 participants. Above all, different methods for Electric Properties Tomography (EPT) and Magnetic Resonance Fingerprinting (MRF) were presented. Many items were discussed, including:
- the creation of EPTlib, a new open-source library for EPT methods;
- the development of a simulation framework for analyzing the effect of the physiological motions on MRF;
- the progress in the preparation of tissue mimicking materials, their characterization and the application of 3D printers for building antropomorphic phantoms;
- the start of the two clinical studies involved in the project.
