The mid-term meeting of the EMPIR project 18HLT05 QUIERO was held on November 30th and December 1st. The meeting, initially planned to be hosted by the University of Ljubljana, unfortunately had to be converted into an online event, due to the current situation with COVID19. Despite this, it was a successful meeting, attended by 30 people, including two external guests that took part in a round table with the consortium members. During the meeting, the progress in the development of Magnetic Resonance Fingerprinting (MRF) and Electric Properties Tomography (EPT) techniques has been discussed, together with the latest outcomes of the experimental research carried out on phantoms and in vivo. In addition, the meeting gave the occasion to assess the dissemination activities (scientific papers, conference presentations, open access datasets, open source software, communications with stakeholders) produced in this first half of the project.

In order to ensure the full achievement of the project results, mitigating the drawbacks associated with the recent lockdown, the consortium members decided to ask for a 6-month extenstion of the project, whose conclusion is therefore postponed to November 2022.
